I think art expressed is the last or one of the last bastions of our humanity. We humans are of the only species who are so aggressive and incessant in our need to move beyond the idea of "I".
Through our mediums we attempt to move beyond ourselves and seek to identify what lies further on. It is our only saving grace.
I love photography. It has opened so many doors in my mind that I can dart in and out of rooms in space like a fearless child in a haunted house. Excitement, possibility, fear and joy are all waiting in unknown corners.
I love taking photographs. For every one I take and like I feel that I have also given and contributed. That alone is priceless. A good portion of my stream centers arounds the sea. I have a love of the ocean - it's power, grace and constant movement.
Photography has truly saved me.
