With encouragement from my professor, and the backing of my family and friends, I was able to enter SkillsUSA Post-Secondary Photography 2008 and win 1st place in California and go on to get 9th place in the nation. This year, I was able to compete in the 2009 SkillsUSA contest once again. Thanks to all the encouragement from friends and family and my fearless professor Nancy Gall, I placed 1st in the state of California once again, and 2nd in the nation. It was a huge blessing and an honor to represent the school and the people that stood behind me every step of the way!
I'm excited to see where photography will take me.

Style is a portrayel of what you feel in a way that people can touch and understand. I tend to shy away from conventional studio portraits and instead use the outdoors as my scenes. I feel that I am more in my element, ironically, in an atmoshpere where I can control even less. I work towards making my pictures captured images of my subject and less pictures of something that was. Life embodied in a picture is the goal of photography...
