Fort Dupont Ice Arena's photostream

Friends of Fort Dupont Ice Arena (FDIA) is the non-profit organization formed to manage and revitalize the Fort Dupont Ice Arena in Southeast Washington, DC.

FDIA provides the Kids On Ice free community skating program, serving over 10,000 boys and girls annually.Now in its thirteenth year, the program has grown to include elementary and advanced figure skating, ice hockey, speed skating, and Schools and Camps Skate for Fitness.

FDIA also offers opportunities for schools and organizations to use the facility for their own programs, including local private and public high school and college hockey team practices and games, regular skating programs for groups such as Special Olympics, and ice time for private and semi-private lessons.
