I like:
- taking pictures, more outside than inside
- waiting for the light
- strolling around, watching the world around me
- talking to people, being curious
- sharing my pics with you & getting your feedback
- quirky, weird things
- sudoku
- Theo Allofs, Joe Cornish, David Noton, Norbert Rosing and of course > Galen Rowell

I really don't like:
- getting cold or wet while waiting for the light
- pixel peeping
- editing pictures > 5 minutes
- boring & stupid discussions about technical matters
- distressed people
- Grießpudding
- Milchreis mit Zimt & Zucker

I started photography decades ago with Nikon FM / FE and some fine manual focus primes (AiS 20, 28, 50, 105 and 200mm). My recent pictures were all taken with DSLRs, starting with a Canon 40D in 2007, followed by a Nikon D300 in 2008, today it is a Nikon D700 with:
~ Nikkor AF-S 16-35/4.0 VR
~ Nikkor AF-S 24-120/4.0 VR
~ Nikkor AF-S 70-300/4.5-5.6 VR
Additional, I like fast primes for a shallow DOF or top notch resolution, i.e. AF-S 50/1.4 and AF 85/1.8D.

Recently, I really HAD to buy again a Nikon FE and I use it now with AiS 24/2.8, AiS 50/1.8 and the marvelous AiS 105/2.5. The latter is a real cracker even with the D700 !

Other optics than these are mostly tagged with the respective pictures. See also the EXIFs thereunder.
