Mad as a monkey and kind as a cat. Other than that I have become inspired by the images of others on 'flickr' and the kind comments re my work. I feel that I now have friends all all over the world with a common interest. Bless you all.

-SW- says:
"In the short time I've known FrenchyPhil, I've discovered a true friend.
A Kindred Spirit whose kindness and generosity is limitless. It's a joy to be around this person and share his company and positive outlook on life. He's witty and charming and has a genuine caring attitude towards mankind.
If there were more people like Frenchy, the Earth would be a better place.
I'm truly honoured to know him, and place a high value on his friendship."12th July, 2009

French Fancy says:
"I know frenchyphil from his blog about sitting in cafés drinking tea and eating cake. What's not to like - someone who spends a lot of time doing this can only be a Good Person"

"I was searching the web for Philippine poetry when I found Phil's poetry and blog instead. His poems were good and I specially liked Monka the Modest. Phil's first blog post I read was about the French dancing cat. Cool! I followed frenchyphil all the way to flickr and eventually became his avid fan. :)
I admire Phil's artistic rather than scientific approach to photogarphy. His photos are funny, interesting and mirror his artistic sentiments.
MABUHAY Frenchyphil and God bless you."1st January, 2008

Psycho Crow says:
"What a wonderful human being, not only a great eye for artistic composition, but also very entertaining company. Phil has a warm heart and sparkling sense of humour that translates well into his photos. I feel Phil is limited only by the bounds of technology and has huge potential to produce wonderfully artistic pieces.
Well travelled, well versed and multilingual, Phil has a great take on life based on his experiences which help greatly in his comments and with his blog (which also happens to be an entertaining read).
Thanks for letting me be part of your world Phil, and I look forward to the next time we meet."4th January, 2006

Urban Combing (Ultrastar175g) says:
"The thing I love about frenchyphil's photos is that they always stir the senses and can evoke many moods you never knew you had. The pictures here depict the spirituality of a brave man who cares a lot about the world."

Nanci says:
"You really have to admire a guy who describes himself as "As Mad as a monkey, as Kind as a cat." He is a fellow with an obvious affinity for the Animal Kingdom. And he posts sweet poignant pictures of childhood, together with current candid closeups. He acts in the theatre, he cooks for his mates, and his pictures are reflective of his lovely nature. Phil is one thoroughly thoughtful fellow."
