Update: 05/02/11 The house-cleaning begins!

I've decided to split up my photos between portfolio and snapshots. There may be some overlap, but it seems to make sense not to clutter up the one with the other.

The bulk of these photos have been done with an Olympus IR-300. I've concentrated on getting good shots with the right light. Digital modifications have been the basics: cropping, levels, color correction, sharpening and very little else. I guess I could probably make some of them better by photoshop-ing the crap out of them, but that's learning to do something wholly different and I don't need my own photos for that. (Plus, I don't have Photoshop and GIMP won't work for me!)

The rest of the photos were done on various cameras over the years: a Pentax K-1000, a Minolta X-300, a Sony DSC-P32 (which I don't remember ever having), a Vivitar ViviCam 3765, a Nikon E800, and several other unremarkable cell cameras or point and shoots.

Update: Well, the IR-300 got stolen, so after a few shots with the cell, I'm trying to use an old Canon Powershot A85. Anybody got any old cameras lying around?

Update to The Update 4/22/11: I've been away for awhile and have a significant backlog of photos to work on and post. Part of the problem has been limping along on an old iMac (G4) and several changes of camera. I've been using my iPhone to some effect, but it's not really up to what I'd like to do. I have a Fuji Finepix I borrow from work, but that has it's own frustrations. I'm not in a position to afford an expensive camera at the moment, but I'm saving.

Also, I'll be doing alot of housecleaning around here over the next few days.
