Still working on my shaky still photography skills...

Working with :
- Pentax K10D (97%)
- Canon G3 (seems to be circling the drain, back screen is dying, the rest isn't feeling too good)
- Canon S3IS, trying to revive it through CHDK, before that only used it for a month or so. CHDK is an alternate firmware for Canon cameras which adds a *lot* of functions to your crappy P&S cam. Check it out (it will not break or even alter your camera).
- Nikon D70 (my GF's, I don't like the interface ; used in last resort, it has a couple kit lenses). Apart from that, objectively it makes some pretty good pics, even with kit lenses.

Current lenses :
- Pentax 16-45 f/4,
- Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 EX,
- Sigma 105 f/2.8 EX Macro,
- Sigma 50-500 f/4-6.5 EX aka the Bigma (not an easy lens to use).

Wishlist :
K7, wide lens (10-17), backup body (when I get a K7, the K10 will be the backup), grip. And a pony while I'm at it. No, no, wait, disregard that, what I really want is a proper transatlantic capable diesel/electric submarine. With reasonably large viewports (nothing fancy, about a metre wide). That goes roughly 300m down. Nothing much to it really. There even are people doing it : www.ussubmarines.com/submarines/seattle_1000.php3

In progress :
I'm getting better at nature photography and macro.
I'm still terrible at photographing people. But then everybody photographs people, so I guess I might as well take pics of something else (lame excuse, I know) ;)
I recently tried nude photography. I *could* blame it on the model but I think I'll just have to lump it in the "photographing people" thing above given how bad the results were. Although when I go really *abstract* there might be a couple shots to salvage.

All my processing is done in Linux. Should anybody read this *and* care (all 3 of you), more news about that sometime in 2010 on linuxphoto.com (whenever I get around to it). (I really hope this won't end up in 2011)

I use Bibble Pro, DigiKam and RawTherapee. Sometimes I use the Gimp. Although with a proper image chain you rarely have to use a bitmap editor, unless you do composite images (which I don't) or really don't know what you're doing.
