I've been here @ flickr since 2006. I started out with a Canon Powershot S3 IS:
It is a good camera for starting out -- i learned a good bunch with it. In 2008 I upgraded to a Canon EOS 40D:
It included the kit lens (EF-S 17-85 mm IS f/4.0-5.6) and I added to it an EF 70-200 L f/4.0 (although I upgraded to the f/2.8 version in June 2011). I've enjoyed it a lot so far and I recently took a photography course to learn to take full advantages of the features available on the DSLR. I have also recently purchased an EF 50mm f/1.4 lens and a Speedlight 480 EX II with a Gary Fong LightSphere Cloud diffuser.
