Taking photos is a bit like chess—simple to learn, but takes years to master. The simplicity of the technique belies the depth of the images behind it...

Not a photographer ... but I like taking photos in my scarce spare time very much and I hope to get - from time to time - some good ones. Motives are everywhere ... top priority gets my family-life of course. As well as in good old film days I use a nikon (d-)slr, but I appreciate my little beloved fuji x 100 as well.

I live with my wife and our four children, two dogs and a cat, in a rural village in the country, quite near to the French border.
