I am a 25 year old artist originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have lived in Prospect Heights since moving to Brooklyn four years ago after I graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati. Since the move, I have worked as a lighting designer with Fisher Marantz Stone Inc. in Manhattan and have managed to find time to create a little of my own art on the side. My installation art piece "10,000" has recently been exhibited at two Brooklyn galleries, the FiveMyles Gallery from July 1-10, 2011 and the LIU Humanities Gallery from Sept. 5-30, 2011. "10,000" is an installation of 10,000 plastic toy soldiers which seeks to explore the abstraction that numbers frequently remain in our perception of reality.
