Current Interests
Recently I've been revived my interest in photography and I've been posting all of my photographs on my own web site and here on flickr. I first had the idea in 2002 for a photography web site, but unfortunately I didn't do squat with it and I've been kicking myself ever since! Professionaly, I'm a programmer working for a Telecom Sales Web Site living in Taiwan. I'm happy to share with people interested in photography,Taiwan, web sites or anything else!

A Brief Photographic History
I've been involved with photography since I bought a Minolta SLR from my brother back in 1992. I snapped a lot of pictures in the beginning mostly with slide film. I sort of took a breather for a few years until I bought one of the first Nikon "Coolpix" cameras. The quality of the pictures was of course very poor with those first cameras. I went back to a point and shoot Minolta film camera for a few years mostly taking pictures of the kids. Then I bought another Nikon - the E3200 which I still have to this day and like to take movies with once and a while. Although the quality was vastly improved over the first Coolpix, I still missed my old SLR camera. Finally I decided to purchase the Nikon D-50 and I've been very happy with it for the last year. One of the major advantages when taking kid pictures is the fast shutter reaction compared to point and shoots. Of course there is a lot more you can do with the lens selection and manual settings. I'm back into photography because of that camera!
