Welcome!

I am into photography ever since I got my first "agfa-pocket" back in the 80s. After many years of working on film I switched to digital only in 2006, in between I had a "hybrid" work-flow shooting on all kinds of 35mm film and than scanning. After I got into "creative work" professionally, also pro-photography sometimes, I try to keep up my photography for fun and as a hobby mainly, although creative-work and creative-hobby are connected closely of course, in my case.

I love all kinds of photography and I think it's hard to assign a particular style or fashion to my work. I like to switch and try as much as I can. There's so much to see and obviously to photograph, why stick to something particular? So, if you have the time, just click through some of my albums and you'll get an idea of what I find interesting, beautiful, ugly, funny, disgusting, worth thinking about , and so on. Photography is a possibility to tell others how one sees the world, directly and in the figurative sense. So you have the chance to get to know me in that very special way here. I hope – of course – you like it.

You won't find deep technical descriptions of gear or PP in my pictures often, often I even strip the EXIF, because although I enjoy "fine gear" this doesn't make the photos equal good "fine art", I'm afraid. Actually I'm pretty aware gear is not the limiting factor for me ...
