A CHANGE IN MY FLICKR STYLE:
Photography has changed my world, and Flickr has been a very large part of that. I have reached a crossroads and am working towards some new artistic goals that are very challenging for me right now and require all my energies. Until I figure out what I'm doing I plan to still post pix here but probably won't be doing much exchanging of comments.
I'll understand if you remove me from your contacts as a result. I'll pop in and see you all occasionally because you are such an inspiration to me and I want to know what's happening with you.
I'll see you on the other side... ;0)
MY PHOTOGRAPHY CREDO
This world can be an ugly place sometimes, which I've seen more than my share of in my job as a court reporter. I get so much joy from finding the beauty in this world and am discovering the thrill of being able to sometimes capture those images and share them with others. It's an awe-inspiring feeling.... I love viewing other Flickr-ites' photos which elevate and inspire me.
I discovered photography in the early part of 2006 and have lived, eaten and breathed it ever since ;-) I still feel like a "newby" to the photog world, and REALLY appreciate constructive criticism and/or suggestions on my photos. Please don't feel shy about giving them to me -- just be kind about it, of course!
I have surprised myself at finding a new love for beauty through photography. Birds and flowers never interested me before, but now the challenge of getting a pretty image of them fills my days with wonder!
