Hi there,

Welcome to my page, hope you enjoy my pics. I'm a writer, not a photographer, but like taking photos too. I like pics that tell a story, evoke positive emotions & memories, and pictures that capture the moment with just a click of the button. Not too keen on photos that have been edited, unless they produce something truly spectacular.

I adore the pics taken by others in my Favorites section, and spend way too much time looking at them over and over and over!!

The pictures on Flickr bring people together. Music does that too. Me, I like Flamenco; Salsa; African rhythms; Regae; Jazz; Country & Western; Disco; Classical; Classic Rock; Irish Folk; Debkah; and Indian music.
And of course, the Ambassador to The Stars, the one and ONLY . . . Fairuz.

I also like hiking in the mountains, where there's not a hint of civilization for miles to come and I'm totally at the mercy of Mother Nature.

Now I have a new hobby - photography and the Flickr pictures. I recently bought a Panasonic Lumix Fz8 camera, and am trying to figure out how to use it. The pictures posted before April were taken with my old, simple Traveler DC 5 camera.

I'm sure my new camera can do a lot more creative stuff, but I think I'm missing the creative gene for photography, as well as the gene for technology. Oh well, we can't be great at everything!!

And please don't delete your pics once I've added them to my Favourites!!
