Hi
I live In North Yorkshire and used to work in York in the IT/Insurance Industry, but dept closed down... and I am back at Uni. I like taking photos for my own enjoyment. I moved from a Canon EOS film camera (90's) to a Canon digital SLR (10D) in 2003 and then to a Nikon D300 in 2008 which I love.
I am by no way an experienced user and completed a short course in 2008 to help improve this
Been to the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica for a 4 week "expedition" in 2008-9 - this was stunning
I do not modify my photos (unless specifically stated) other than cropping, saturation, etc. no colors are artificially changed. I like a photo to represent what i originally saw
