I am a North Carolina artist, born in Charlotte, and I began drawing and painting from the moment I could hold a pencil.

I attended Western Carolina University and received a BFA in fine art in 1996.

My artwork is primarily figurative, I paint what I see around me, whether it is religious, political or social issues.

I am a mother of three and forfeited my early career to stay at home with the children. I have been married for about 19 years now, and finally my children are old enough to amuse themselves so I can get back in the studio to paint.

I normally paint everyday and upload new paintings as I finish them. Hope you will follow me on Flickr to see what I'm getting into today!
