I have had a camera in my hand since early childhood but only until the end of 2007 did I purchase a DSLR camera and started trying to hone my skills. Flickr has been the biggest tool in my learning process. The contacts I have made and the groups I have joined have been a wealth of knowledge to me. I am at my happiest and the most peaceful when I am in nature with my camera, it is true therapy for me. It has gotten me through some rough times in my life. My favorite thing to shoot is waterfalls. When I can catch the long exposure, silky look to the water it just makes me smile all over. When I get home from being out in nature I think of the George Strait song " I saw God today". After seeing the landscapes and nature around it is amazing how anyone could NOT believe in God. He truly provides us with all of our photo ops.
