As I saw for the first time a group of common dolphins when I was 7 years old, I immediatly knew that these animals will keep me busy during my free time.

Most of the Bottle nose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) pictures were taken in the North of France, for a photo-identification programm. This large colony of dolphins was totally unknown until 20 years ago, and now a big photo-id effort is giving us the first results. More and more work is undertaken about this colony. I am very lucky to be involved in this study. The other pictures were taken during different research projects and trips (Sperm Whales, Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, etc.)

All these photos are my first photography results. I have never edited my images, and only changed some elements. however never major modifications. I agree with those who are sure that pictures do not need to be edited to get a great final result. The situation you should portray must be "exactly" similar to what you saw behind your camera.

Some other pictures were taken in British Columbia (CA), Washington State (USA), French Polynesia, Brittanny, and the French West Indies (FR).
