Flannol's photostream

From the moment I held my friend's Canon 400D a couple of years ago, I knew this was for me. I have taught myself 'photography', through advice from friends, blogs, books, magazines, websites, podcasts, and from the wealth of inspiration that Flickr has to offer.

I love contrasty images. Love them. They just work in my eyes.

I'm now the 'school photographer', but I'm not meant to upload any pictures or anything, which means I'm unable to show you guys like 95% of my photography which is a right bummer :( But totally understandable I guess!!

I plan on using this summer to 'rediscover' myself a bit, do some photography, cycling/biking/skating, spend time with friends, all the that you kind of just seem to lose in life....

So anyway.

Hi, I'm Flannol, and my nickname's Nathaniel. I live in Hertfordshire, in the UK, I'm 19, that's about it actually with the formals.

I am working on (and nearing completion of) creating an online magazine and a community for the ever growing population of young photographers.

I have set myself a concrete deadline. Feburary 25th it begins. I'm going to write a huge long post about it and how to get involved with it in the 'young photographer' flickr group in the net few days.
