  "first of all i am alive because of him...this is personal and none of anyones business..
  My spirit and enthusiasm in the past year towards my photography is a great deal owed to my relationship to this man. He might be the most interesting person i have ever known in my life.
  I have dedicated my two exhibitions in Manhattan to him and because of his similar interests in what we shoot we share a great deal of unspoken comradery and mutual admiration.
  I have met the man personally needing to seek him out in MUMBAI to see if such a man really lived breathed and lusted for life as he does.
  I shall meet him again in December to shoot Muharram again and lots of other things, INDIA needs no introduction.
  Firoze Shakir, has made my life more interesting more exciting and more curious. I am honored to have met him and hopefully will go through my life influenced and inspired by him. GOD BLESS HIM!"
