Fire Trucks 4 Hire's photostream  

A collective of present and past public safety folks (firefighters and law enforcement) who enjoy older fire vehicles -- and have turned it into something of a hobby shared with those who find a need or desire to have a fire truck at their beck and call for a little while.

Whether one is looking for a fire truck for a birthday, a parade entry, something to use as a prop in a photo, movie or TV project, or "real" work (fire sprinkler testing, or backup/reserve apparatus for firefighting), we're in -- and will bring the equipment and the crew qualified to deal with it all.

The rest of the time, we're out playing with the trucks -- it's just a matter of what's on the calendar if the truck is moving water, equipment, people, or just hauling us to a show or the ice cream shop for a snack.

All of our photos are geo-tagged with the city they were taken. In the interest of privacy for functions held at individual homes or schools, we will drop the photos somewhere within the city limits only (so the tag shows the correct city name), but not on or near the actual location. Events held in public locations (parks, churches or schools if it's not a school-day related activity) will be placed on the actual event site.
