"Before looking at Firda's photostream I didn't realise how much you can tell about a person from the pictures that they capture on their camera. But as you immerse yourself in Firda's photos you get a picture of the person behind the lens.

Firda loves vibrant colours. Time and time again your eye is drawn to a bright yellow or red or green or blue - whether it's from nature or from an everyday object. All the colours of the rainbow are represented in Firda's stream.

Firda loves the world in which she lives. Whether it's rolling plains or forests, seascapes or mountain vistas that you want - you'll find them all in her photostream. Firda's photos make me want to visit the places that she has visited, and they encourage me to look at the world in a new way, through her eyes rather than my own. I ask, what are the things that I miss seeing that Firda would photograph in the world I inhabit? Where would her eyes turn? What views would her cameras capture?

Firda's photos, taken with a variety of cameras (a number of them old indeed), are well worth a visit. Spend some time with them, for many of them will become friends that you'll visit over and over again."
