In the interests of my own sanity, I try to keep a sensible number of contacts that I can actually keep up with, so please do not be offended if I do not make everyone a contact.

Much of my photography is influenced by nature, more specifically whether it's raining or not. If it's bright and sunny you can expect to see landscapes, beaches, rivers, views around town. If it's raining I will probably be routing through kitchen drawers and cupboards for my inspiration so expect macros. If it's night I'll probably be watching TV. Expect few photos.

I don't mind if you plaster my comments with awards and invitations but it's nicer to get relevant comments. Similarly I give awards and invitations when I feel more people would like to see your photograph. It is not "tit-for-tat" awarding. It's just another way of saying I like your photo.

I use a Canon 400D (or Rebel xti if you're of a rebellious nature) with standard kit lens, though many of my earlier photos were taken with an Olympus compact at about 3 MegaPixels - a stunning little camera which I still use from time to time.

I have a truly fine collection of contacts and I urge you to take a look and make them your contacts too - I really do see and learn something new from them every day. What's more, together we have a great deal of fun, and in public too.

Home is Bridport, Dorset in the South West of England.
