That's me in the picture! I am the Angela Shelton who went "Searching for Angela Shelton" in 2001 and discovered that 70% of the women I interviewed had been victims of child sexual abuse, rape, and/or domestic violence. I am now a serious big mouth who helps people move from pain and suffering to leading joyful lives. I teach women to stop being victims and become Goddesses.


My book Finding Angela Shelton is a call to action for a healing revolution and it has already started a grassroots movement. I am also a screenwriter (Tumbleweeds), actress, superhero (thesafeside.com), producer, director, filmmaker, and comedian. The process of making my directing debut, Searching for Angela Shelton, opened my eyes to a epidemic of abuse. I have since become a speaker and activist My new program is called "The Politics of Joy and Happiness" because I have seen how people are addicted to pain after speaking to thousands of survivors. Most of the Angelas were abused but then most of them also healed and now lead joyful lives - including me! I believe in and teach ways to get off the trauma train and onto the Joy Jet!
