Greetings from an Intrepid Geezer & Welcome to mostly unexplored territory!

Interest in photography became more focused during college years while working as a photographer's assistant and generally hanging out with photojournalists. During sojourn to Crete I saw photography in a new light. Mostly everything eventually developed into nature photography of my two favorite regions: the southwestern American deserts and the Smoky Mountains. Things have shifted nowadays-- instead of standing in a darkroom, I find myself seated before a computer screen.

Like eating an elephant a bite at a time, this photo collection is best viewed a bit at a time! Enjoy.

Something for everyone (almost):
Enjoy flowers? There is plenty of flora to be seen... Sky Flowers

Like still-life? There are some composed images... Cityscape

Perhaps Places? Pictures from various travels are here... Sail Away

People watching? Activities of people are documented... Loaded

How about the arts? There are even some special effects... Laboratory of Yesteryear

Featured Photo screened for the first time (a changing exhibit)
