Formado em 2008, FESTENKOIS é o resultado do encontro de quatro músicos da cena underground de Belo Horizonte e que estão ativos desde meados dos anos 90.

Com formação clássica, letras em inglês e arranjos variados, apresenta uma nova abordagem para o rock pesado, inspirado por várias influências.

Tem como proposta temas poéticos com conotações político-sociais e sair de qualquer obviedade com composições de livre arquitetura.

Formed in 2008, FESTENKOIS is the result of the reunion of four musicians from Belo Horizonte's underground scene, whose have been around since te middle 90's.

Despite the fact it's a brazilian band, the songs are all written in english and show lots of variations.

With a classic rock'n roll lineup, the band delivers to the listeners a new structural attempt to heavy music, inspired by many influences. With poetic social and political oriented lyrics, they try to create songs that are free from the obvious and from the common sense.
