I take photos of mostly "stuff" rather than people. Big on animals, flowers and buildings.

I shoot with either a SLR or a little point and shoot. My opinion is that my photos with the P&S are as good as with the SLR because the P&S is with me all the time so I get more good photo opportunities rather than going out looking for stuff to shoot with the SLR.

A house theft has provided me the opportunity to start over again with camera gear. I am now shooting a Canon Rebel T1i with a 70-200mm F4 IS, 1.4X extender, 18-55 IS kit lens, and the 10-22mm EFS wide lens.

Previously, I was shooting a Canon Digital Rebel (the original) and Tamron lenses, mostly a 28-200mm that harken back to the film days and a 19-35 F3.5-4.5 that I bought when I went to the digital 1.6 crop factor.
