I am a Mom who loves to sew! I have always loved to sew and started out sewing as a teen. I "upcycled" when the term hadn't been coined yet. Yup, I made quite a few sundresses out of fortrel mumus (spelling?). I challenged myself to only wear handmade items and for a year only bought the absolute "necessaries" (and the odd pair of jeans). Now I love to sew children's clothing, quilts and home decor. I absolutely love the modern quilting fabrics and the surge of so many people getting back into crafting and sewing.
