I'm a mostly random person, accept when it comes to my family, and my art, Digital Cinematography, then I'm very focused.

Fortunately I am married to the most incredible woman that has ever lived, Carol (Check out Carols incredible photos her on Flickr at www.flickr.com/photos/carolsphotography ), she keeps me grounded in reality, accept when she joins me in one of my flights of fancy.

Without Carol I would not be where I am now... yes thats a good thing ;-)

So if I'm a Cinematographer, why am I on Flickr, right?

Being a Digital Cinematographer, Producer, Director, etc., I am, in most projects, the Director of Photography (DP) by default , so being a Photographer goes hand in hand with being a Cinematographer, because the principals of what makes a good "shot" are essentially the same for both mediums.

I have actually been taking pictures longer than I have been shooting video, so I am equally comfortable with my Nikon D70s, as I am with my JVC High Def movie camera.
