My ex, Alex, who is a great guy and a great photographer, introduced me to Flickr and bugged me to start posting on my own. I don't know if I have the photography bug like he does, but I think it might be starting to take hold.

I use Alex's old Nikon D80. I generally use it on one of the automatic settings, occasionally changing a setting here or there. I do very little post-processing other than adjusting the light and cropping for a better picture. Maybe some day I'll learn how to use all the bells and whistles.

I really like taking pictures of patterns, textures, and details, and I'm more into macro views than full views. But, really, it is all about what catches my eye. We'll see how my "vision" changes over time.
