I tend to have three subjects: sciencey stuff, random things in macro, and myself.

I'm always around sciencey stuff since I work in a science lab. I like capturing things as they are "in the wild" since science is often not as tidy as some people think.

Random things in macro always amaze me. I love being able to capture the tiny details that aren't appreciable without magnification.

I like the uncertainty inherent in being on the other side of the viewfinder. It's always a surprise to see how things turn out when taking pictures of myself. In the digital age, there's no reason not to take 300 photos and be happy when only a handful are worth keeping.
