Cork & Cotton's photostream

I started my love of cork a few years ago. There is a store near my family in Canada that sells almost anything made out of cork. Floors, furniture, wallets, shoes, kitchen accessories, rugs and handbags, just to name a few!
After putting cork flooring in my kitchen and realizing the beauty and durability of cork, I thought it was time to buy the cork fabric and start sewing with it.
The cork fabric is so soft and lightweight. Actually the other name used for it is cork leather, which makes sense after touching it.
