I started to post-process my pictures a little, mainly black and white conversions and basic effects for now. I use the picnik tool that works perfectly together with flickr and avoids buying photoshop-ish software that would only turn my old windows veteran into a total snail...for raw conversion I use RawTherapee, which is ultra-slow on my machine but it gets the job done nicely. UPDATE: a brand new MacBook Pro with Aperture makes everything so much smoother...
