I work a lot. My vacation hours are always maxed out. People who only know me by voice or internet are surprised when they meet me in person and find out how small I am - I assume that's because I have a tall personality :-)

I've been an amateur photographer since 1979. My first camera was a Pentax K1000. A few year later I took out a huge loan and bought a Pentax LX (just the body - I already had a stockpile of k-mount lenses). I held onto the LX until a few years ago when I finally sold it for $350 on eBay.

Now days I use a simple Nikon 40x. Once a year in September my work takes me to a cool location somewhere outside the US for an international conference. This is when I get to take some of my absolute best shots :)
