I have been involved with photography since my early teens and have been working in the field of medical and ophthalmic photography for 25 years.

Interested in nature, landscape and wildlife photography. I enjoy astronomy, birding, geocaching, genealogy and collecting minerals and coins. I use primarily Nikon DX gear but own an assortment of Canon and Nikon film gear too. Also use Panasonic and Sony pocket cams. Recently started using the Nikon V1 (CX format) for light and compact gear for travel and nature photography.

I enjoy travelling to National Parks, National Wildlife Refuges and beautiful places all over the world. My travel bucket list is very long. Would like to see England/Scotland/Ireland, Australia, Spain and Greece in the next few years.

I am married to a wonderful woman and we have a daughter and a son. I have lived in Puerto Rico, Santa Barbara,CA and Portland,OR. Currently living in Vermont for the past 22 years.
