Farmers Apothecary is a small, family owned and operated soap and bath treat business in rural northern Missouri. We offer fine, hand crafted products, such as lye soap, lotions, sugar body scrubs, bath fizzies, and lip care products.

At Farmers Apothecary, we strive to use ingredients that are good for you and your body - plant based oils, herbs, and other botanicals make up the majority of our base ingredients. Our products feature a wide array of colors, textures, and scents, we offer something for everyone!

Farmers Apothecary soaps are made from scratch in small 4 - 5 pound batches. Our soaps are created using the old-fashioned "cold process" method, where mixing oils and lye create a chemical reaction known as saponification. After cutting, our bars are cured for a minimum of four weeks to ensure a mild, gentle bar.
