First I want to find out what I want here on flickr, then I'll have to decide what I want from photography. I am getting there, be patient and forgive me being discursive.

I have been taking photographs for two decades but until now they were mostly just "documentary" shots, not really spirited or made consciously. I have found some new inspiration so I am going to spend a lot of time exploring and experimenting. For the time being I have uploaded some of my older pictures and some of my very recent ones.

I am 42, graphic designer.

update, 02.02:
Okay, I have learnt a few things.
Here is some I will surely NOT do, promised:
– I will never point my camera unfocused at some colorful lights to shoot pointless bokeh. Geeez...
– I will never give my photos titles sounding like something utterly wise or thoughtful. I find these cliché. Like "sorrow is no fun" or "anyone who has socks will put them on their feet" and so on...
– I will never overuse HDRI. Well, I actually don't use it at all, but I might. But some of those images with the sickening skies make me feel nauseous.

update, 02.23:
I have learnt more. Here is what I'd like to do more:
– Textures. Great. I have been using them during work, but never thought of applying them on my own photos. Ha! Silly me...
– Must go hiking more often...

update, 09.07:
I have a tricky period in my life, I often don't have enough time for flickr, nor for shooting, but I am trying hard, promised. Please bear with me, I'll catch up with your photostreams regularly...

update, 11.04:
I am back to flickr, I hope I'll have more time and inspiration to contribute :)

Thanks for the inspiration for all. It is a great place to observe, learn and get inspired.
