Every photograph is a one of kind, distinctive expression of the photographer's own unique, or "peculiar," point of view. It's a joy to be able to express my individuality through my photos. Photography is my respite, my escape. It allows me to immerse myself in the beauty around us, seeing things I may never have seen before, in ways only the camera can allow. My passion for photography grows daily.

My husband and I live in the ruggedly beautiful “unglaciated” region of Wisconsin known as the Driftless Area. There we live a quiet life and enjoy God's grace and blessings.

The creative talent I’ve seen displayed on Flickr has been a source of great inspiration, while the friendships have encouraged me daily. I'll be honored if you add me as a contact, but please understand if I don't reciprocate as I have to limit my personal contact list to a manageable number. This allows me the time to respond to my contacts' uploads in the personal and thoughtful manner they deserve. And if I haven't heard from you in a while, then I'll probably remove you as a contact.
