I was born in Germany back when it was preceded by the word "West," to American diplomat parents. In the US I lived on the east coast until I met my wife to be, and we moved to Oklahoma. There was a stint in Florida but we have returned, this time to Tulsa.

My cats own me. I stay up too late and have a penchant for jelly beans at 3 a.m.

I struggle with a disruptive, disloyal brain. Surgery to attempt to correct or reduce my seizures may one day become an option as medications have proved entirely useless. For the time being, I've chosen to try and find a way of living with the seizures, which is why Rufus has come into my life. His assistance makes my life more livable.

Taking pictures (for surely this is not photography) is a form of high stimulation for me.
