Darragh Brennan returned to Ireland after spending 22 years running Falconry of Kenya in Malindi on the North Coast of Kenya. The business comprised of a Falconry Centre, a Safari operation, a Bar and Restaurant and a Tented Adventure Camp on the banks of the Sabaki River 40 kms. north of Malindi.

In 2003 Darragh began operating FALCONRY IRELAND at a picturesque location in rolling countryside some 3 kms. from Woodenbridge.
He now manages a hands-on Falconry activity centre ably assisted by Joe Keogh as Head Falconer.

Falconry Ireland offers hands-on falconry activities by private booking only , using a wide variety of birds of prey suitable for Falconry. Our activities include much photographic and educational content as well as personally flying and handling some of our hawks.

Joe Keogh has been involved in falconry since he was 15. This came easy to him as he had an interest in all things related to country life from a very young age.
During his many years flying hawks he favoured Goshawks and Redtails and has extensive experience with a variety of falcons. he has a paticular soft spot for Harris Hawks and knows well how to get the best out of them.
Joe now lives on 50 acres of rolling meadowland with his wife and children in Brannockstown, Co. Kildare and his other interests include shooting, fishing and all things to do with wildlife.
