The equipment is important, of course, but after looking at some of the amazing work here I realized that it's not as crucial as experience, careful planning, and technique. That's what I admire most in other peoples' work, and it's what I'm trying to accomplish in my photos.
As far as contacts go, I will gladly add you if your photography is interesting, sincere, thoughtful, creative, etc. Commentary, faving, and group invites are fine, I appreciate them! A regular presence and contribution is important too. I'm on Flickr to learn Photography, and I don't have a lot of patience for porn and trash. And of course, please respect my photostream:
