On April 1, 2008 I got my baby, a Canon EOS 40D. Since then my camera and I have gone on a trip to the Great Northwest, which included Washington State, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. I've been privileged enough to have a good friend ask me to take bridal shots of her and I captured some of their wedding events in Las Vegas. We followed that up with a trip to Zion National Park. I have also been lucky enough to travel to Barbados and thoroughly enjoyed capturing the island in my photos. Most recently, I traveled to the Guadalupe Mountains National Park and hiked to the highest point in Texas. Documenting the entire trip through photos.

I also gained experience photographing conferences and other events. Although, this is definitely not my strong suit, I am working on that.

As my skills have improved, I have had my work featured on websites. Included the University of Texas, LBJ School website, Meadowbrook Farms Bed and Breakfast, and other local Austin sites.

Photography has given me the travel bug and I am looking forward to enjoying many new places with my husband and my camera.
