  "Her nickname is taken from DCFC song, which has many interpretations - but what interpretation can be found through D.'s photos? Lifestyle gravitations may be represented in using trendy forms to take her photos - D. uses polaroids, diana, lomo, overexposed films... - but form in her case does not take lead over content, instead it merges with it creating indissoluble wholes. Railtrack photos have suicidal potential - in very playful way. But point probably lies in knowing her limits (bending to squares 5-6 times, because more is impossible) but still having a urge to move forward/cutting through life lengthwise.
  Through photos she is showing people around/close to her and her emotion-to-visual-translation diary entries. And also showing weakness/indulgence for people in shorts/underwear. Small but powerful detail is work with inpicture framing, which is evolving into work with background contrast. But what hides behind these photos for me is the weaved feeling that the real fun happened before and after taking them. Feeling that to be part of D.'s life is to be immersed in warmness and fluffiness."
