I am a mother...wife...daughter....sister....fan of many....inspiration to some....hero to one....
A struggling existence existing in a struggling world.

I am organized chaos
I am a believer holding on to my faith
I am an artist in my mind, still trying to understand how to deliver it From my mind
I am a loyal listener to the art of sound
I am drawn to a good story...like a camera to a pretty face
I am visually inspired by almost anything or anyone to cross my range of sight
I NEED to photograph

I've had a camera in my hand since i was 5...i've always felt the need to hit that button, but in all these years i've never tried to understand or learn about that box in my hand. Point and shoot...point and shoot...it was never right, or enough. I am now 42 years old and just now trying to figure out what compels me to capture everything with my lens in hand.
I think i've always felt the heart of an artist...i've tried to create art with words...with pencil...with paint...but nothing ever fit. So please tolerate my endeavor to learn

I know that I have yet to create what I feel, I fear that I am programed to create what others feel or desire to see.....I'm hoping to find myself within my camera

I find pieces of myself everyday , now to put them together.

You could think of realistic art as being to art what the song is to the world of music. The song has words and a familiar form of verse, chorus, and coda. You know what it's about and what to expect, much like a realistic landscape, or portrait, or figurative artwork. Abstract art on the other hand is to art what the symphony is to the world of music. The symphony has no words, but rather gathers its force and power from it harmonious bringing together of sounds from a multitude of instruments. It's form and course are much less predictable. If you let yourself listen to the music of the symphony with your imagination rather than just your ears, you find that the music conjures up all kinds of images in your mind's eye. Just as we need to learn to sit back and let the music of the symphony wash over us and evoke in us an emotional response, so too with abstract art. You don't need to understand or interpret it; you need to learn to let it work its magic on you and your imagination, to let its arrangement of color and form wash over you, to feel it.
