Hi All

Welcome to the world through my eyes, I've discovered photography in early 2006 after my wife kept teasing me about being a bad photographer. In an effort to prove her wrong I discovered a passion for this wonderful art. I hope you enjoy my pictures and I encourage you to leave comments/testimonials as you see fit.

Since I am relatively new to photography I am still trying to develop my own photographic vision/style and in the process learn more and more about myself as a person.

General comments about my photos:
Most of my photos are captured and then post processed using Photoshop. My aim is to create art that expresses my vision of the places I visit and not necessarily reproduce reality.

General comments about the gear I use:
For those of you who are interested my gear includes a Canon 5D DSLR with a bunch of adapted manual focus lenses which provide excellent performance in a small package.

My kit includes the following lenses
- Olympus Zuiko 21mm f/3.5
- Canon EF 24mm f/1.4 USM
- Contax Carl Zeiss 28mm f/2.8
- Leica Elmarit-R 35mm f/2.8
- Leica Elmarit-R 50mm f/2.0
- Leica Elmarit-R 90mm f/2.8

I have recently decided to venture outside my digital comfort zone and buy two film cameras.

I Bought a used 35mm Zeiss Ikon rangefinder with a Leica 35mm Summicron-M ASPH lens.

and a

Hasselblad 500CM SLR with
Hasselblad CF 50mm
Hasselblad CF 80mm
Hasselblad CF 150mm

I look forward to exploring the possibilities film has to offer.
