"ExpressTrain has a New York sensibility that Paul Simon would admire. In her self-portraits and city images, she captures the city the way a memory should work, even a memory you never had.
As a model in her self-portraits she portrays the gamut of a playful young woman, a super-hero, a femme-fatale, and a mythical goddess. She has an intuitive sense of drama and seemingly knows exactly how to frame the composition and light it. She makes it seem so easy but we know she takes her art seriously and has been studying with a watchful eye for many years.
Stephanie has helped me alot with my own work and has taught me how powerful to the image hands can make.
