In twenty years of shooting pictures I've developed a passion for documentary photography and photojournalism. It started at a young age employed as the 'Saturday boy' at an independent camera shop with the work of Magnum and National Geographic photographers to aspire to. That meant learning it the hard way with hundreds of rolls of film, half of which were processed & printed in a blacked out bedroom. I now have a job that involves a lot of international travel, so cameras go with me everywhere I go to document the places, the people and my experiences along the way.
All digital images are shot RAW and converted to .DNG to reduce file size (lossless compression) with embedded metadata (rather than separate .xmp file) and hopefully future proofed. Post production is minimal, carried out with Adobe CS3 Design Premium or Aperture.
