Excel offers its students an exciting approach to language acquisition which focuses on the development of proficiency in the four basic communication skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and all of the activities in the program are carefully selected to help develop proficiency in communication rather than simply memorizing grammatical structures. Staff are encouraged to adapt course material to meet the needs of the individuals and Excel programs are conducted in a relaxed and somewhat informal manner, with the emphasis on providing interesting and comprehensible class materials that encourage student involvement and participation.
