Thanks to all who view, comment and "favorite" my pictures!

I bought my first 35mm camera in 1972, while stationed in Monterey, California, and cut my photographic teeth on Cannery Row and Big Sur.

A camera of some kind has been with me ever since, on Okinawa, in Berlin, Paris, and the former Soviet Union, all over the United States and, especially, Southern Arizona, where I have lived for most of the last four decades.

These days the cameras are digital, but the principles are the same: get something in the viewfinder worth sharing with others. That's what's exciting about a site like Flickr. I hope you find something here worth telling others about.
