"I've seen Ewa's Holga (and other) photos through the screen of Flickr for a long time now. Her 'impulsive' raw / basic style is all her own and her stuff really stands out from a lot of other photo streams.
Having recently seen her work up close and on print at a Gallery that she exhibited at, I'm even more of a fan."15th March, 2008

"Ewa, you are one of my first contacts over here on flickr. We kept following each other's stream since the very beginning. One year later we keep visiting our postings. Let me tell you that I am very glad and honored for that and I appreciate it at a point that you can't imagine ..
Ewa is a great photographer. She does beautiful street scenes and she really has a great talent for observation. Her work contains a lot of soul. Her photos aren't retouched, they are "as is". I guess one could call them "rough" diamonds . They show the essence of photography. Have a look at her wonderful sets, like Marrakech, Holga, Constantinople etc. They are a delight to the eye. She is also a free spirit and I admire her very much for that reason.
Ewa, I just love what you do and I have one wish. Having a coffee one of these day with you in a Café and chat about everything. Keep doing your excellent work dear Ewa ..
Sincerely, Christiane"16th September, 2007

Ralph Krawczyk Jr says:
"EwaJ's lo-fi work is simply beautiful in execution... her images are sensitive to space, tone and subject.
The way she views the world is so unique and fresh. It is always such a pleasure to visit her photostream to see what magic she's been creating with her toy cameras. In all honesty, Ewa is one of my favorite photographers on Flickr and I am glad we've become friends through the magic of image making.
I can't wait to see how she sees the world next..."28th August, 2007

""Photography is not about cameras, gadgets and gismos. Photography is about photographers. A camera didn't make a great picture any more than a typewriter wrote a great novel."
Peter Adams
Not a truer word could have been said about Ewas work. With the most basic camera she makes magical images."2nd June, 2007

"I got acquainted with Ewa’s work a few months ago…must have been October last year or something with a set on industrialisation – a set called “Life of Plants”….she impressed me with very strong images…they were dark and not that inviting…but that’s precisely what I liked about them…contrary to many people I meet on Flickr, she creates her very own style….you won’t find pretty postcards in Ewa’s stream, nor screaming colours nor endlessly post processed “ortonesque” pictures...she does it her own way…and this means far away from what is usually called “mainstream”….look at her pictures from big European cities…their greyness and their greatness…beautiful ! her pictures are like movies….they put you in a scenery Ewa depicts in a wonderful way, and you are invited to take part in her scenery…but what really impressed me the most is her recent set on Marrakech…wonderful images from another culture….in some of her pictures you can actually FEEL the dust from the streets of this magic city !…looking at this set made me want to go there too…as soon as possible !…have a look at the stream of a very talented young woman and look how she lays her very own touch in her pictures….an unorthodox view on photography….but again that’s what makes her work so special…"
